Window cleaning in MetroWest, MA
Inside, outside, or both. We clean the glass, the sills and the tracks, and we leave the place how we found it.
from $299 · Exterior window cleaning starts at $299 for a typical single-family home. Adding the interior is quoted on top of that, based on how many windows you have. Screens are a separate add-on. You get the exact number before we start.
Dirty windows are the kind of thing you stop seeing. The film builds up slowly over a couple of seasons, and then one day the sun hits the glass and you realize how much light you've been missing. A proper cleaning takes an afternoon and changes how the whole house feels inside.
We clean windows for houses all over MetroWest, from small capes in Framingham to big colonials in Weston and Dover. Same crew every time, and we're fully insured, so nobody's guessing about who's on a ladder at your house.
What you get
What's included
Outside glass
Cleaned with a water-fed pole and pure water, so there's nothing left behind to dry into spots. Second and third story windows get done from the ground, no ladders leaning against your house.
Inside glass
Done by hand with drop cloths down. We move what needs moving and put it back.
Sills and tracks
The dirt that collects in the bottom track gets cleaned out, not pushed around.
Frames wiped
Cobwebs, dust and pollen off the frames while we're there.
Hard water spots
Sprinkler spray and mineral staining get treated. Heavy buildup gets flagged at the quote so there are no surprises.
Screens
Screen cleaning is an add-on. Tell us at the quote and we'll price it in.
What's actually on your glass
Window glass collects three different things and they don't come off the same way. There's loose dust and pollen, which rinses off easily. There's road film, the oily grey layer that builds up on the street-facing side of a house. And there are mineral deposits, the white spotting left behind when sprinkler water or roof runoff dries on the glass.
That last one is why some windows still look dirty after a normal cleaning. Minerals bond to the glass and have to be treated, not wiped. We check for it when we quote, so you know up front whether your windows need that extra step.
Inside, outside, or both
Exterior-only is the most common booking and the cheaper one. You don't need to be home, we work from outside, and most houses are done in a couple of hours. If your interior glass is fine and you just want the outside clear again, that's all you need.
Interior cleaning is a different job. Drop cloths go down, we move what's in the way, clean the glass, sills and tracks, and put everything back. Someone has to be home to let us in. Most people do inside and out together once a year, then exterior-only in between.
How we price window cleaning
Exterior window cleaning starts at $299 for a typical single-family home. From there it comes down to how many windows you have, how many stories, and whether you want the inside done as well. Screens are an add-on, priced separately, so you're not paying for it if you don't want it.
You get the exact number before we start. If we find heavy mineral staining or paint overspray from an old project, we tell you what it will take rather than surprising you on the invoice.

How often should I get my windows cleaned?
Two to four times a year covers most houses. If you're near a lot of trees or a busy road like Route 9, go more often.
Do you clean inside windows too?
Yes. Inside, outside, or both, whatever you want. Interior work just needs someone home to let us in.
Is screen cleaning included?
No, screens are always an add-on. It's priced separately so you're not paying for it if you don't want it.
Do you clean windows in winter?
Yes, all year. We switch to a solution made for cold weather.
Can you reach second and third story windows?
Yes. Water-fed poles reach upper floors from the ground, so nothing leans against your house.
